Description
A global communication consulting firm, is seeking a senior web developer with PHP chops to develop Web-based applications within a fast-paced agency environment. Our web developers work with project teams, interactive strategists, other developers and external 3rd party agencies to create interactive solutions for client initiatives. You'll also work with clients and project staff to gather project requirements and develop technical specifications. From there, you'll build, test, debug and troubleshoot interactive deliverables and scripts for a wide range of project types including Web sites, Web-based applications and interactive online tools.Candidates must be able to work as part of a close-knit, international cross-functional project team with both technical and non-technical team members. Excellent communication, problem-solving and organizational skills are required as is extreme attention to detail and a high level of accountability and responsibility.

Experience/Skills
Technical experience requirements include:* Strong PHP, JavaScript, HTML and CSS skills* 3+ years developing Web based applications* Database design, development and programming in MS SQL 2000/2005 a plus* Moderate Internet IT experience with server related skills including domain management, IIS, SSL, Database management (SQL Server and MySQL), PHP* 4+ years acting as a senior developer or technical project lead* Experience developing requirements documentation and technical project plans; unit testing and version control experience* Experience with 3rd party COTS applications (wiki, CMS, CRM) applications a plus* XML experience a plus* Experience working with a global development team is a plus* Experience mentoring junior staff* Experience working with vendors and freelancers a plusConsulting and/or Agency Experience:* Client services or agency experience a plusEducation:* A 4-year degree in a Computer Science or Technology related discipline is preferredOther Skills/Experience:* Excellent verbal communication skills* Excellent code commenting and adherence to standards* Strong writing skills* Self-motivated, and able to multi-task within a project-based agency environment* Able to function independently and still work well in a "team oriented" environment
