Genesis10 is seeking a release Management process Expert in Madison, WI
Duration: 2-3 months with possibility of extension

Release Management process expert.

The two software systems are:

. Admin Server - Business rules engine to process / enroll the business (first product release on this system)
. Product Tracker - Custom built application (.net)

Project Description: The project is in recovery mode (went to production in Mid-March). The system is unable to process transactions and unable to roll back to the previous system. One contributor to the problems has been the release management process and technical environments used to create, test, and deploy software. Many of the application use their own environments (22 today), they are not connected, and use various (or no) source code versioning. The recover will likely last 2 - 3 months. This project is intended to create a standard Release Management process and the infrastructure and environments to support the process and systems.

Experience/Skills
Hard Skills: Software Development Lifecycle processes, staged environment processes, set up, implementation, management. Change Management. Experienced in software release management policies and practices.

Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to work at all levels of the organization - ability to interface and negotiate with technology and business leaders and teams.
