Employment Type: Full Time Employment (FTE) Position

Job Description/Responsibilities:
Works with the Operations Team and Application Management Team on application architecture related designs and solutions.
Designs technical architecture (software) ensuring that the design supports the quality and business requirements.
Provides application architecture expertise, sharing knowledge of technical issues. Develops and documents application architecture standards.
Acts as the Go To person for application architecture expertise and technical guidance to the Corporate Application Development Teams.
Participates in IT planning and strategy for the PeopleSoft ERP systems and mission critical, Corporate Systems.
Involved in IT technical strategy and specification development ensuring business requirements are supported by application architecture.
Maintains a high level of technical expertise by keeping up-to-date with the latest application architecture changes, designs, and innovations.
Manages system performance tuning initiatives. Forecasts performance for all Corp. application environments.

Qualifications:

Requires excellent management and interpersonal skills, demonstrated analytical and communication skills, and expertise in interfacing with internal and external customers and vendors.
Strong strategic orientation coupled with a detail orientation; needs to be attentive to details; and find solutions to application architecture issues.
Proven experience in meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; gets first-hand customer information and uses it for improvements in products and services; talks and acts with customers in mind; establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect.
Requires experience in dealing with PeopleSoft ERP systems.
