Description
Genesis 10 seeks a Senior Peoplesoft Application Engineer for a contract to hire position beginning ASAP in downtown Milwaukee.

Responsibilities:
.Identifying, defining, and modeling technical application requirements, data structure definitions and distribution to satisfy the application solution.
.This includes the definition of physical program units and data structures based on the logical model to satisfy the requirements of the application.
.Develops and enhances logical and physical system blueprints and technical proofs of concept and/or prototypes and frameworks, services and other system components.
.A senior level person is the most experienced, with the widest range of experience in various size and types of projects that are relevant to the role. Typically 5 to 8 or more years in the role would be expected.
First project will be Financial Reporting: a multi-year effort comprised of numerous small efforts to streamline the General Ledger and associated financial processes.
.This person is likely to be the only IS person in meetings and will be asked to produce documentation and do the IS impact analysis with some assistance from other IS experts.

Experience/Skills
.This is a multi-dimensional role that requires good analytical skills, strong PeopleSoft Financials functional and technical knowledge, an accounting background, and strong organizational and communication skills.
.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with many different personalities and strong perfectionist tendencies.
.Strong functional and technical experience with PeopleSoft version 8.4 General Ledger, Purchasing, Accounts Payable and Travel and Expense.
.Experience with all 4 modules is ideal. Most important at this time are the GL and AP. Accounting degree or strong accounting experience is required. This person will work directly with the accountants in Controllers and needs to talk their talk
.At least 4-8 yrs of experience.
.Work with Controllers and Corporate Services, primarily focused on PeopleSoft version 8.4 General Ledger, Purchasing, Accounts Payable and Travel and Expense.
.This person will work directly with clients on projects.
