AETEA Information Technology has nine offices nationwide with over 500 consultants currently working for us. Our clients are Fortune 500 companies in the financial (bank/brokerage), telecommunications, manufacturing, pharmaceutical and insurance industries. We currently have an opportunity available for a Perl/Unix Software Developer to work onsite for a major pharmaceutical client in Princeton, NJ. This opportunity is immediate and a minimum of six months in length. Candidate will be responsible to maintain and enhance web-based applications written in Perl and running on Linux (Red Hat 3.0). The applications store and retrieve information in Oracle databases and LDAP directories. Programs include dynamically generated user interfaces for collecting and storing information, as well as report-generating programs and application administration utilities. Experience/Skills Required: Candidates must have actual work experience implementing web-based applications using a variety of front-end and back-end Internet programming technologies including HTML, AJAX, JavaScript, Perl, Oracle, MySQL and various template and content-management technologies (e.g. HTML::Template, Data::Grouper Perl modules). Must be able to perform relational database modeling. Must be able to design and implement user interfaces using web technologies. Experience implementing and working with ModPerl on Apache is desirable.df-tc
