Our client in Uptown Charlotte is seeking a contract Powerbuilder Developer. Length: Immediate until the end of 2005 Pay: Negotiable REQUIREMENTS: Typically requires 7-10 years of applicable experience. Technical Required: Strong developing in PL/SQL Unix Oracle POSIX Powerbuilder Strong Communication, Project Management and Finance Acumen. Ability to lead a team of developers through every phase. RESPONSIBILITIES: Designs, develops, tests, supports, maintains and debugs software applications that support business units or support functions. A senior member of the technical team responsible for assisting business partners, technical development and reporting at various levels within organization. Utilizes in-depth knowledge of technological alternatives and business system requirements to recommend innovations that enhance and/or provide a competitive advantage to the organization. May lead or have responsibility for documenting impact analysis and High/Low Level Designs for software application(s) for one or more programmers. Coordinates collaboration with external programming teams to deliver software on time and within budget. Provides feedback and technical guidance to project managers on issues of critical importance to achieving business objectives. I s clearly recognized as a content expert by peers and practices SSP/CMM methodology. Responsibilities include being in 24x7 oncall rotation.
