Job Summary:
This position will have day-to-day authority for all changes migrating into the production environments. It will ensure that all changes are registered, assessed for risk, and scheduled for implementation to the production environment across all platforms through the use of agreed upon processes and procedures. This position will report to the Director of Change Control.

Primary Responsibilities:.
Works with infrastructure and application change requestors to ensure that all changes requests are executed daily according to the process so that changes are introduced into the environments with minimal disruption to the business.
Coordinates, convenes, and facilitates main and Application development change control board meetings maintains a calendar of approved and tentative release schedules and system changes.
Verifies the completeness and timeliness of changes entered into the change control system follows up on non-compliant changes made outside the change control process.
Coordinates, monitors and facilitates the change process through an automated change control system.
Resolves change control scheduling conflicts according to established practices, and obtains advice when precedents are unclear or unavailable.
Maintains and manages the company-wide Change Control Calendar.
Prepares statistics and trend reports for use in review of the change control process with infrastructure and application teams.
Gathers user requirements for future process and tool enhancements, and maintains change process documentation.
Works with others to develop, implement and communicate improved change control processes and methodologies to all of IT.
Maintains a broad knowledge of state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and systems.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Ability to lead, coordinate and organize meetings.
Understands the interrelationships of processes affecting the test environments and production including Full Lifecycle Testing, Software Configuration Management, Problem Management and Change Control.
Knowledge of current technological developments/trends in the area of change control knowledge of computer problem resolution procedures and techniques.
Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments that affect changes introduced into production.
Understands and is able to ask probing questions, to assess risks associated with changes that the change has been appropriately tested and that there is an approved back-out strategy should the need arise
Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare metrics and reports.
Strong teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with all areas of IT and the business across multiple sites.
Excellent customer service skills.
Gains the support and commitment of others, leverages knowledge of the issues and others motivation to persuade.
Proactively initiates frequent and regular communications with others.
Actively elicits ongoing feedback from others and close partnerships with them.

Minimum Education/Experience Requirements:
Bachelors degree.
