Location: Wilmington, DE
Rate: $40-43/hr

Perform operational tasks and monitoring of the bank's business applications, job scheduling, file transfers, and data loads. This includes code promotion, incident management (problem determination and recovery), user management, security access and controls, work order management, event console management, job scheduling and execution, file and database table management, transfer/load/extract data management, workload management, output management, media management, application wellness checks, performance management, capacity management, application and business data recovery, business continuity (BCP), and disaster recovery (DR).

Develop and document process flow detailing functions and accountabilities.

Identify areas where efficiencies can be gained using proactive approach through collection and analysis of metrics.

Responsible for the automation of various operational functions.

Requirements:
Possess strong interpersonal skills, and be capable of working with and presenting to small groups.

Three years experience using UNIX scripting commands such as ksh and Perl.

Experience utilizing scheduler software such as Tivoli Work Scheduler (TWS) or Platinum, and file transfer software such as Connect:Direct, RJE, or FTP.

Experience in developing detailed process workflow with automation orientation.

Experience in developing 'proactive' processes designed to alert/eliminate problems before they escalate to an issue.

Experience with Oracle & SQL is a plus.
