Senior Programmer Analyst

Link Technologies is currently looking for a Senior Programmer Analyst for a part-time contract in Carson City, Nevada. Our client currently has one Conversant and one IVR unit. They will be migrating from the Conversant applications to the new platforms. These are mission critical applications that require maintenance, support and modification.

The consultant will be responsible for providing the following:

  • IVR custom application software maintenance;
  • IVR phrase/announcement maintenance;
  • IVR custom application logic changes;
  • Oracle database and table maintenance and updates;
  • Application interface screen changes
Consultant must have the following required skills:

  • Have four (4) years experience in designing and coding voice response application programs utilizing Avaya IVR programming language, including the ability to create host interface programs.
  • Be proficient in creating and maintaining Oracle database and tables and have the ability to write custom Unix sell scripts.
  • Be experienced in program analysis, design, construction and modification including troubleshooting, testing and debugging.
  • Be able to communicate well and be capable of preparing a cost/benefit analysis and project time line estimates.
  • Have operational knowledge of Electronic Funds Transfer Operations.
  • Have knowledge of Nortel and Avaya Systems.
  • Be experienced with HAR interfaces.
Desired Technical Skills include:

  • Knowledge of Conversant Systems
  • Experience in technical documentation oversight
The consultant will be responsible for providing custom application modifications and maintenance to include:

  • Voice application script logic;
  • Verification and test plan methodology and execution;
  • Unit shell scripts;
  • IVR phrases and announcements;
  • Oracle databases and tables; and
  • Application backups
