RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide production, testing and programming support for Retail Transaction Processor application. Apply your strong analysis, troubleshooting, programming skills on mission critical middle-tier system. The role involves support of multiple technical environments including C/C++, Unix, Oracle, Visual Basic, Java/HTML, ASP, and MQ-Series. Experience in retail environments and electronics payments processing is preferred. Knowledge of IT security standards and encryption would be beneficial. Position requires participation in 24x7 on-call support rotation.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: (These are the minimum qualifications you need to be considered for the job.)
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Demonstrated C/C++ programming language skills
* Proven knowledge of Unix operating systems
* Demonstrated proficiency developing database applications using Informix, DB2, SQL server, or Oracle

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Proven knowledge of design concepts for real time transaction processing systems and middleware technologies
* Proven knowledge of Visual Basic programming.
* Proven knowledge of Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)
* Proven knowledge of secure programming practices
* Proven knowledge of web development including Visual Basic, Java, HTML, ASP, ATL COM/ActiveX
* Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills
