Description
CompuStaff Technologies Inc. is currently seeking an experienced senior programmer/analyst.
Responsibilities will include design, coding and implementation of new applications coupled with maintenance and support of existing applications portfolio.
The successful candidate will have 4 to 5 years of programming experience on complex applications, having demonstrated successful use of skills in areas of requirements analysis, application design, and problem solving using principles of Object Oriented Design.
Extensive experience with RPG, and CL, SQL, FTP, HTML as well as Microsoft Professional Office suite tools in an IBM AS400 computing environment is required. Additional work experience with Scripting languages, C++, Java, Servlets, Metafile, System Life Cycle Development processes and project management methodologies would be highly desirable.
Candidate should possess a BS/BA or equivalent education and work experience in Computer Science/Information Systems or Business. Must be able to effectively communicate project, business process and technology details to team members as well as clients. Be highly motivated, and disciplined, continuously seeking opportunities to improve and grow professionally. Must be a team player, working in a collaborative fashion with others.
