Description
Local company seeks a Sr. Programmer Analyst for a permanent position in Memphis, TN. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing analytical and programming tasks to implement new applications or modifications to existing applications systems. Programming experience is required and candidate must be able to read blueprints or engineering drawings. Candidates with knowledge of AutoCAD, C++, COBOL, Visual Basic, Java, and Pascal will be considered over others.

The candidate should also speak and write in a clear and understandable manner for internal/external relations, understand complex verbal and written instructions, understand data processing applications, and have a high degree of mental concentration and attention to detail. Individuals familiar with MRP systems will be considered over others but is not required.

Job Functions:
15% Communicate with customer department via oral and written communication to research job functions and plan for automated solutions
20% Manually researches, compiles, and organizes date to provide customer oriented management of information
20% Uses periods of high concentration and knowledge of computer programming to define data files, code programs for the update, and display of design information within office environment
25% Reviews and performs reprogramming or data correction to automated systems
5% Presents to proposed automated solution vial oral and written communications
