Job Description: DDS has an opening for a senior programmer/analyst with a minimum of ten years mainframe experience. The programmer/analyst would be on a team developing new functionality for Driver's License mainframe applications that will interface with Federal Systems. Listed below is the job description for this position.
Required Skills: 10 years IBM mainframe applications
10 years COBOL/COBOL II experience
5 years CICS experience
5 years DB2 experience
5 years MVS JCL
Experience with Expeditor
Experience with SPUFI or QMF
Experience Fileaid
Experience with Changeman or Endeavor


Minimum Years of experience needed for required skills: 10
Preferred Skills: At least ten years mainframe experience with the relevant experience gained in last 15 years. Preference given to individuals demonstrating a detail knowledge of a structured development process. Skill writing technical specs and detail test plans is preferred.
What role will the consultant have: The consultant will develop technical specifications from, detail business requirements, code and test mainframe DB2 CICS or batch Cobol programs to interface with a web service or VSAM based Federal Systems.
What phase of the project will the consultant be involved in: Technical requirements, Development, Testing, and Implementation of new web services.
