Description
Senior Programmer Analyst provides mainframe support for maintenance, modifications, and other support services to an Integrated Services Delivery (ISD2) automated system (ISD2 is an online integrated automated system for determining eligibility and issuing benefits for the Food Stamp, TANF, General Assistance, Medicaid, and Work Programs). Participates in the development and preparation of documentation for, but not limited to, procedural, program and user documentation. Occasionally, may provide guidance and assists in training of less experienced staff. Maintains state-of-the-art knowledge and compiles information into recommendations and analyses.

The Senior Software Engineer performs analysis, design, development, programming, and testing of applications and modifications to this State of New Mexico application. This involves employment of SDLC methodologies, software design using structured analysis techniques, maintenance and enhancement of large applications. The Senior Software Engineer also develops and executes integration and unit test plans, provides ongoing support for other applications and participates in meetings as may requested.
