The BearingPoint Civilian Team is currently searching for a Senior Programmer/Developer role to support our government client.

Location: Alexandria, VA.

Performance Profile/Position Description:
The candidate will provide software support for the operations and maintenance of our client's mission critical systems. Candidate will work with and may lead a team of developers to produce application source code. Will be involved with release management, and investigating new technologies, system requirement analysis, designing and implementing the critical software components to support the customer's changing needs, as well as the system modernization. The current system is a state-of-the-art web-based document processing and dissemination system with extremely high security policies and system availability demand.

Position-specific Requirements:
Bachelors Degree and 4-6 years technical requirements to include Java, SQL (Sybase), ASP, Javascript, HTML, and XML. Must have a working knowledge of XBRL. 4+ years of software development work experience is required

Desired skills:
Strong communication skills to include excellent client interaction skills.
