Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience is required. Two (2) to five (5) years of programming experience is required, including an expert working knowledge of at least one programming language (preferably COBOL or VB.Net, with COGNOS or SAS experience). Experience in library maintenance software, JCL, MS Office and relational databases (e.g., DB2) is preferred. Experience in health care, actuarial, or financial data tracking and reporting applications (e.g. cost and utilization, claims analysis, enrollment tracking) is preferable. Must be a team player and capable of multi-tasking. Above average oral and written communication skills required. Basic knowledge of systems analysis, design, and project management. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is responsible for producing complex, efficient, error free computer programs and related documentation and providing maintenance to existing computer programs. The incumbent may be required to serve in the position of Project Leader if so instructed by Managementdf-tc
