We have an immediate need for a Senior Project Engineer- Space Electronics.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Number of years Experience: 5 years

Job Overview:
The Senior Project Engineer in our High Reliability Electronics group leads engineering teams in the successful planning, design, development and qualification of electronic products for space propulsion systems.

Responsibilities:
30% - Acts as a key resource in the planning and coordination of design and development, verification, and production support activities for space electronics products.

20% - Assists the program manager in planning/scheduling of technical activities, and coordinates with design, test and production resources.

30% - Provides leadership in developing product proposals, customer presentations, requirements analysis, design analysis, design reviews, product qualification, failure mode and fault tree analysis, and production support and change board activities.

20% - Responsible for interfacing with internal and external customers to attain project success through product compliance to requirements and meeting project budget and schedule.

Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering and five years of related technical experience including a solid understanding of systems engineering, integrated product development, and project management. Experience in the design of space based power conversion systems is highly desired. Also requires a basic understanding of spacecraft and launch vehicle analysis and design. Strong verbal, written and presentation skills required. MSEE degree preferred.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship.
