Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a / an Senior Project Manager to join our team in Rancho Cordova, CA.

Job Responsibilities:
This project manager position will be responsible for the IT and Low voltage portion of construction projects in Northern California. Main responsibility is the coordination of IT vendor activities in relation to the overall construction schedules. This includes Structured Cabling Design through Desktop/Application implementation Representative for IT project scope.

Attend design review meetings, all general contractors and sub-contractor meetings, also need to manage Perot specific tasks and provide technical oversight. Utilizes MS Project to build IT and low voltage schedules. Responsible for creating and managing detailed plans covering all aspects of the IT related components.

PM will be responsible for schedule prioritization and management of internal and external resources.

Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of Construction experience
  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • 5+ years of general IT experience, to includes Telecom, network and applications
  • Experience leading multiple-project programs
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery results and project assets to describe scope and work performed on at least four Level 4 projects (3-4 years of large scale relocation or construction projects)
  • Experience working within the entire project lifecycle—Feasibility, Initiation, Planning, Estimating, Execution, and Close out
  • Formal classroom training in these project management disciplines:
    Introduction to project management
    Project workshop facilitation
    Project estimation
    Project execution
    Program management office
  • Ability to accomplish and/or mentor all work within these skills areas with ease, dependability, and repeatability:
    Project communication management
    Project cost management
    Project human resource management
    Project scope management
    Project risk management
    Project time management
    Project quality management
    Project integration management
    Project procurement management
    Product and vendor management
  • Advanced proficiency with standard project management tools—Microsoft Project, Project Server, all Microsoft Office applications, etc.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills, including experience with executive-level presentations and interactions

    Minimum Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

    Minimum Certifications or Other Professional Credentials:
  • PMP Certification preferred

    Must be able to travel 50% of the time throughout Northern California.
