Description
- Lead project management activities including overseeing all aspects of the project including design, planning, cost estimates and schedules for project, testing, documentation, deployment and handoff of project to full production.
- Evaluate project requests to determine best source of resources within to carry out project deliverables.
- Understand and document user requirements and map business processes if necessary.
- Work with customer executive management team to determine project priorities.
- Manage the project scope, customer expectations and resources and develop project plans, management plans and staffing plans.
- Develop and manage project schedule timelines.
- Develop and report to customer management team on project deliverables and status

Requires Bachelors degree or 7-10 years of relevant experience, and a minimum of 5-7 years of related experience.

Specific Skills Required:
* 5-7 years of project management experience, experience in contract management, pricing and government procurement is preferred.
* Must be skilled in MS Project, Excel and Outlook.
* Proven experience in managing projects using an established lifecycle methodology.
* Must have experience in compiling and presenting to senior level management.
* Candidate must also be highly motivated and able to work independently.
* Experience working on customer site is required.

Desired Skills/Experience:
* Microsoft Project 2003, PMP certification, Experience with business process mapping software.df-tc
