Description
Our client is in need of a Senior Project Manager (PMP Preferred), very process oriented and with a financial background. The compliance piece is not SOX related, but Trade / Investments related.

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading the Compliance Project. Activities include the following:
-- Developing strong understanding of business requirements.
-- Documenting project scope and requirements.
-- Estimating project costs.
-- Coordinating with external stakeholders including vendors and business areas.

Experience/Skills
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:

-- Stong experience managing IT projects.
-- Experience mentoring / leading Programmer/Analysts.
-- Experience working in a disciplined development environment, including the use of a project management methodologies and system development lifecycles.
-- Solid technology background, including an understanding of current technologies concepts.
-- Professional approach to work, including strong verbal and written communication skills.
-- Strong work ethic.
-- Strong attention to detail.
-- College degree required. Post graduate work (such as project management certification, financial certification, or master's degree) preferred.
-- Financial indsutry experience preferred.
