Senior Project Manager

. Looking for a senior level PM to work on Enterprise Venture Fund projects.
. Responsible for managing one or more Enterprise Venture fund projects.
. Execute normal project management processes to manage scope, schedule, costs, risks and resources.
. Projects will vary greatly in scope, size and technology.
. Efforts will vary between research, proofs of concept and build out of infrastructure or installation of new software.
. Work will be accomplished through partnerships with various groups in IS and vendors.

Skills needed -

. Highly organized - able to manage multiple efforts simultaneously
. Flexible and adaptable - need ability to regroup when things don't go as planned
. Can communicate with a variety of audiences
. Able to build rapport with cross-functional teams
. Understanding of technical infrastructure helpful
. Manage all the day-to-day activities of a project.
. Creates staffing plan and manages staff, both internal and external.
. Coordinate interfaces between the project teams if multiple teams are involved.
. Responsible for producing project management deliverables.
. Monitor and communicate project costs and schedule.
. Control project scope and facilitate change management process.
. Lead and mentor staff in project management techniques.

. A senior level person is the most experienced, with the widest range of experience in various size and types of projects that are relevant to the role. Typically 5 to 8 or more years in the role would be expected.
