Description
Systemware is seeking a senior level Project Manager (5-8 years of experience)with strong package implementation experience. A PMP Certification is preferred. This project involoves 50% travel and overnight stays to Baton Rouge, LA, so candidates will need to have the flexibility to travel in their schedule. Candidate should have strong communication skills. Able to work independently, in heavy matrix organization. Position will support effort in Baton Rouge, LA and Atlanta GA. Will include all aspects of Project Management, including workplan development and control for multiple small projects, risk identification and mitigation, and project status reporting.

Here is a set of minimum qualifications/desired characteristics for a Project Manager. Note, with few exceptions, we need ALL of these criteria to be met.

Minimum Education - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field

Desired Qualifications - Advanced degree, PMP or Masters Certificate in PM

Minimum Experience - Three to five years experience in some aspect of software development or package implementation.
Five to eight years of IT Project Management experience, including project planning, cost and schedule control, risk management, scope management and communications management.

Managed three or more projects, each with a duration of 6 months or more, eight or more team members, and a total budget of at least $750K.
Personal qualities - Leadership, Communications skills, Team player, Problem Solver
