Robert Half Technology is accepting applications for a five month contract Senior QA Engineer for one of our Seattle area clients. The Senior QA Engineer position is located in downtown Seattle and will impact the way traffic works in Puget Sound!

The Sr. QA Engineer will design and execute test cases and plans used in validating high-quality assurance levels for high-visibility projects in the Puget Sound area and provide subject matter expertise on devices, networks, and products deployed in test beds and production.

Experience/Skills
  • 5+ years of formal Software Engineering education or related experience with a BSEE or BEng or BSCS.
  • 5+ years QA Software Testing background.
  • Experience with Defect Tracking tools (e.g. Test Director, ClearQuest, Remedy, etc.).
  • Hardware Test Experience.
  • Microsoft Windows, UNIX/Solaris, Embedded environment experience.
  • Experience working with shell scripts and XML files.
  • Solid working knowledge of all Microsoft Office tools.
  • Must be able to cross-train to the design and testing of software.

  • Database and writing SQL experience.
  • Java, JBOSS, Javascript, HTML, C++, C##.
  • Experience working with multi-tiered business applications.
  • Smartcard experience.
  • ClearCase, ClearQuest, Test Director.
  • Wireless networking exposure.
