POSITION SUMMARY: Work with the Quality Assurance team supporting the product development lifecycle through design, analysis and testing. Primary responsibility will be system load and performance testing. Perform whitebox and blackbox testing as needed, as well as test tool design and implementation. DUTIES: - Develop and execute load test plans and load test suites. - Develop and execute performance test plans and performance test suites. - Develop automated load tests based on written or automated test cases. - Design and execute whitebox plans and test cases. - Design and implement QA test tools. - Analyze, document, and verify system change requests (defects, enhancements, new features). - Collaborate with the Product Management and Development staff to derive load test design and specifications. - Perform data validation against Oracle database. - Prepare detailed load test reports. REQUIREMENTS: - 2+ years experience creating complete system load testing suites on a web-based or client/server product. - 2+ years programming experience with JAVA and load test languages. AutomatedQA or TestComplete experience is a plus. - 3+ years experience testing web-based or client/server software products. Experience working on a 24/7 web-based service offering is a strong plus. - Strong knowledge of QA process and methodologies. - Ability to create clear, concise defect submissions. - Ability to troubleshoot software defects and identify root cause. - Experience testing products with RDBMS (Oracle is a plus). - Experience with Retail Point-Of-Sale systems a plus - Experience with change control and version control software - Strong HTML and SQL knowledge. - Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
