Job Responsibilities
The Lead Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for managing and participating in the testing of the software applications to assure quality and stability prior to deployment in our production environments. The candidate's responsibilities will include:

Acting as a QA representative performing duties as an individual contributor or team member with 100% hands-on work
He/she will also participate in requirements development, software code reviews, configuration and change control, and Go/No-Go decisions; plan, schedule and execute to test documentation; and understand, apply and recommend improvements to the current software test methodologies and processes.
The candidate will configure, administer and troubleshoot software test environments; apply strategies and approaches for identifying risks with implementation, assessing their likelihood and initiating strategies to test for those risks; and work with the QA and Project Managers to set and evaluate milestone criteria to ensure released products are on schedule with high quality.
The candidate will work closely with Project Management and Development staff toward the reporting and resolution of errors.
Develop test plans that verify functionality operates as specified in MRDs, and ensure the application behaves properly in the face of unintended usage
Design, develop, and execute automation scripts that reflect the test plans
Establish a working relationship with Engineering and Product Marketing counterparts and contribute to product feature discussions
Work with Eng, PM, and QA in different geographical locations and time zones to resolve issues in a timely manner
Review product documentation related to a feature area and verify that the documentation accurately reflects product functionality
He/she will record, report and track defects to accurately depict the status of the system, including conducting defect/triage meetings, daily testing status reports and acting as a single point of contact for defect tracking issues and updates.

Job Requirements
BS in Engineering or Science or equivalent experience in computer science field
3 - 5 years plus experience in software development and/or software QA
3 Years of QA lead experience is necessary
Demonstrated expertise in QA procedures and methodology
Automated testing scripts generation and testing experience
Working knowledge of software development life cy
