Senior QA Engineer Location: Mountain ViewJob Description:We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer who will be part of a distributed Quality Assurance team. Ideal Candidate will be the one who thrives in collaborative fast paced startup environment, adapts quickly and has a passion for meeting technical challenges under aggressive deadlines.Responsibilities: * Building RTM's, test cases, test scripts and working collaboratively with a geographically distributed QA team to execute test plans * Execute manual and automated tests, report and analyze results. Assess and report severity and priority of problems * Working closely with Engineering, Operations, Product Management and other QA teams to drive functional, load, performance and scalability tests. * Resource planning and allocation for QA related activities * Identify and drive the adoption of process improvements to increase the QA group's organizational efficiency and effectiveness. * Be involved in test automation efforts. * Work closely with engineering team to drive quality and testabilityQualifications: * Minimum BS CS/CE or equivalent * 4 years in software quality assurance or development experience in an Internet software company * Experience with integration of unit test, white box, black box and automation methodologies * Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills * Strong team player, high energy and positive attitude * Experience implementing test automation suites using industry standard or in-house developed tools * Ability to succeed as part of geographically distributed team * Proven leadership skills in a fast-paced, demanding environment * Demonstrated strengths in ability to lead teams in developing and implementing quality assessment processesDesired Skills: * Strong knowledge of Database interface and SQL * Software development experience on Windows platform * Experience in UI and web technologiesdf-tc
