Description
Our Client is currently searching for a qualified Quality assurance engineer needed for a 1.5-month engagement to test online multimedia system. Areas of responsibility include generating test plans and test cases, performing client- and server-side functional testing, and configuring and maintaining test environment. The candidate should: have a comprehensive understanding of the software QA engineering process, anticipate, identify and articulate problem areas and develop preventative solutions, work with a high degree of independence and resolve complex problems, and have proven experience in identifying the relationship of bugs to software code.df-tc

Experience/Skills
The candidate chosen for this position should meet the following qualifications:
-4+ years of QA experience.
-Broad knowledge of QA processes and standards
-Writing test plans and test cases
-Ability to read/write in Japanese
-Using defect tracking tools (Bugzilla a plus)
-Strong technical background for black box testing
-Windows 2000 or Windows XP experience
-Multitasking skills
