BearingPoint GTS is currently searching for a Senior QA Engineer.

Preference will be given to candidates local to our Silicon Valley office.

Primary responsibilities will include:
Consultant will be the Sr. SQA Engineer on Infrastructure projects by writing and assisting other SQA Engineers with Test Plans, Test Cases, Traceability Matrices, and Test Data. Execute Regression, Functionality, Performance and other tests to assist the project team by identifying and resolving defects in the product. Provide SQA Testing status and recommendations to the team.

Required Skills:
. Strong experience and understanding of SQA Methodologies and Processes
. Defect Tracking Tools - preferably Rational ClearQuest
. Blackbox testing skills
. Demonstrated experience with PC and Mac technologies
. Experience in setting up and troubleshooting software test environments
. Experience in testing large, enterprise applications in a complex environment
. Experience in Web testing, Client/Server and QA Tools- rational, Mercury, Silk
. Good written and communication skills with a focus on customer service
. Experience with and basic understanding of core Infrastructure or core Back Office services such as: LDAP, Kerberos, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, Active Directory, MS Office 2000/2003/XP, E-mail/Sendmail/IMAP, Antivirus, Corporate Time, Web applications, etc.

Candidates must have the ability to accommodate a Monday-Friday travel schedule and travel 75% nationwide.
