Job Description:

QA Support Engineer
Location: Perimeter

The unique candidates are those people who are have a strong quality assurance background, particularly in testing commercial grade applications, component- and network-based enterprise applications. These people must have a solid knowledge of HTTP and HTTPS protocols. A networking background is necessary due to the highly technical nature of the applications being tested. A background in Internet security is a plus. These positions will be required to build test cases, configure test environments, track defects, and perform regression testing in an independent environment. The ideal candidates must thrive on a fast-paced, hard-working development team and have a passion for keeping up to date on the latest technologies.

Technical Requirements:
Strong skills providing quality assurance in a Microsoft environment (.NET, Windows 2000, Windows XP, IIS.).
Must have a good knowledge of HTTP and HTTPS protocols.
Networking background or LAN administration is a plus.
Experience with XML and SQL Server.
Experience providing quality assurance on commercial grade, enterprise applications.
Experience using the Mercury Interactive test tools is a plus.
Internet security background (Web application security a plus). NICE TO HAVE NOT REQUIRED
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Independent, self-motivated worker requiring little supervision.
Strong problem solving skills.
