Description
Requirements:
? Proven ability to rapidly track defects throughout the layers of the system and end-to-end across internal and external integration flows.
? Experience in creating software test plans, test case design, testing process, and defect management methodologies.
? Must have a good understanding of all kinds of testing methods such as functional, compatibility, regression, performance, and end-to-end testing.
? Experience with MS SQL.
? Experience testing Java applications would be preferred.
? Working knowledge of Programming Languages ? JAVA, VB.
? Experience with Rational tools a plus.
? Bachelor?s degree or equivalent is preferred.
? Understanding of the software engineering lifecycle.
? Should have knowledge using defect database for reporting and tracking defects.
Primary responsibilities:
? Test execution, test case development, filing bug reports.
? Perform black-box, functional, system-level testing.
? May develop automation tools.

Project-specific information:
? ClearQuest experience desired.
? Proficiency with Spanish language preferred.
Professionalism, strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work in a team environment are essential.
