Your day to day role!
Focus on the end-to-end quality and continuous improvements of all the software/hardware products.
Leads and participates in the creation of test scenarios and detailed test scripts in relation to the overall testing strategy for shared services.
Leads, plans, motivates, negotiates, and maintains effective quality feedback and ensures quick responses to issues that impact customers and costs.
Participates in the development and team management of the overall work plan, to include communication of status, schedule variances, deviations, and issues in a timely manner
Supports the department by serving as a Subject Matter Expert for one or more operational areas (Validation, Verification, or Requirements) within one or more front-end applications, to include providing direction to other resources in the development and execution of detailed test plans.
Applies a broad range of statistical techniques to analyze, recommend, and implement process and product improvements in support of product development processes.
Mentors Project teams on different types of test, (i.e. Unit, Integration, System and UAT)


What it takes to get the job done
A minimum of 4 years in Quality Assurance within a large technical environment.
A minimum of 5 years experience overall in Information Technology, with exposure to multiple platforms and programming languages
Proven ability to develop detailed testing strategies and test plans from defined business requirements
Experience from an Operations level developing effective requirements (process flows, illustrations, SIPOC), Verification process and Validation process.
A working knowledge of the SDLC and associated testing phases
Practical knowledge of the Capability Maturity Model and associated processes
Experience with Object Oriented Analysis; able to read and review Use Cases, Business Rules, Activity Diagrams, Workflow Diagrams, and Visual Prototypes.
Hands-on experience with the development, implementation, and/or use of test automation tools, (QuickTest Pro, Test Partner, Functional Tester or Performance Center)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Professional certifications such as a CSTE, CSTA, CSQA, SQE, IIST, CTM, etc. are desired.
Bachelor-s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred
