We have an immediate need for a Quality Assurance Testing/Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION
Apply Quality Assurance and Testing knowledge to support test efforts including large software projects and programs

Partner with Third Party Vendors, Business and Project/Program Leads to deliver QA services for assigned efforts

Align QA activities that span from vendors to Jones IS/QA teams for assigned efforts

Review vendor QA deliverables to determine they meet quality requirements

Coordinate Testing activities internally with business and IS teams

Lead the development of the Quality and Test Strategy (Test Planning) for assigned efforts

Establish agreed-upon Testing Metrics and Test Status Reporting requirements Develop/manage a Detailed Testing Schedule within the approved project timeline

Oversee development of all QA/Testing deliverables per the strategy and Master Test Plan

Participate in Peer Reviews of QA Deliverables

Lead or direct Defect Management activities

Coordinate test execution efforts as assigned

Coordinate with IS teams providing support to the testing effort (Environments, Performance and Automation Testing teams, etc.)

Escalate issues with the Project/Program Lead or Functional Area Leads as appropriate



7+ years of experience in IS project development &/or technical

7+ environments

5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Testing

Thorough understanding of SDLC phases and Methodologies

Basic design, development, testing, documentation, implementation and support of quality solutions within targeted timeframes

Interpersonal skills needed to successfully interact with team members, leaders, users and vendors

Strong understanding of project leadership fundamentals (planning, status reporting, resource planning, coordination)

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Self starter, quick learner, initiative, and proactive

Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage time well

Must have strong written and verbal communication skills

Familiarity with the Mercury Testing Tools preferred
