Kaiser Permanente, parterning with Genesis10 Consulting, is seeking an experienced quality assurance analyst for a 6-month contract in Honolulu.

Overall scope/purpose of the project/position: Every week, Kaiser Permanente's ASM group achieves another remarkable benchmark in IT systems delivery of clinical, insurance, financial and administrative information. It's all part of an immense and ongoing migration to a national IT system to better serve our millions of members throughout the country with quality health care. ASM’s Quality Management and Testing group provides quality assurance and testing services to the local and national investment projects in every region and in so doing is a critical component in the development of quality systems for the organization.

Purpose of this position and the major outcomes desired with successful fulfillment of the position: The Quality Management and Testing Analysts for Hawaii for the KP HealthConnect project will conduct all quality assurance and testing activities for all of the 2005 deployments for Inpatient Clinicals as well as the Practice Management modules just starting to get underway in the HI region. These individuals will report to the QMT Lead for KP HealthConnect for HI.

Top 5 daily responsibilities:
*Work with the QMT lead to identify QMT needs for the KP HealthConnect
*Attend Design Build Validate sessions in order to understand workflow requirements of the region for the next KP HealthConnect deployment
*Develop detailed test plans and scripts using requirements as the basis and then execute those test plans and scripts
*Record defects, triage and track the resolution of them and re-execute testing of new code
*Escalate issues to the local QMT lead
*Report regular status to the local QMT lead

Experience/Skills
This position requires 4 - 6 years of structured testing and/or quality assurance.

Top 3-4 required skills:
*4-6 years of structured testing experience.
*Ideally, healthcare experience and even more ideal Epic experience but neither are madatory
*Test Director (Not-Required)
*Experience in system application interfaces.

Top 3-4 required soft-skills/personality characteristics:
The candidate should have a good grasp of how to achieve quality in a project both through testing and quality assurance activities.
