IT at Nike is over 900 professionals working on the most advanced business applications and e-commerce capabilities in the industry. For instance, our ERP utilizes SAP and Siebel, with SeeBeyond ICAN/e*Gate as the integration layer for all our Supply Chain applications. And that's just one example of the dozens of upgrades and improvements currently underway.

As our Senior Quality Assurance Engineer within Enterprise Services, you'll be responsible for ensuring the Global Retail Store solutions meet business specifications and feature requirements. You will be responsible for executing QA procedures around the requirements management process, refining quality assurance processes and tools, interfacing with third-party vendors and providing necessary documentation as part of the process implementation. You'll develop and execute test plans, procedures and scripts. You'll perform functional, regression, load, stress and performance testing. You'll lead detailed defect tracking, validate defect fixes and verify installations. You'll work on implementation and/or configuration of version control and configuration management processes and/or tools in coordination with the software supplier. You'll be looked to as a key member of the team and will interact with Nike and vendor technicians to isolate and resolve issues. You'll be responsible for keeping management informed about the quality of the application and process at every stage of the project cycle, and will perform project status reports. Your work within Retail IT will improve our capability to deliver world class product to our consumers and drive Nike's Retail business into the future.

Requirements for the position include:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience

- 5 years' experience in information technology or business

- 2 additional years' experience accepted in lieu of a degree

- 4 years' experience in quality assurance, including QA methodology, testing, planning and documentation work

- Experience using defect-tracking and test-management tools

- Experience validating systems in a multi-tiered environment

- Experience with Functional, Integration and Regression testing

- Experience with Load, Stress and Performance testing is desired

- Experience with automated Regression, Load and Performance testing tools is highly desirable (i.e. Winrunner, Loadrunner, QTP, Rational or Segue)

- Experience working with automated testing processes and test automation scripting

- Experience testing at white box-level or as a developer within the following technologies is a plus: VC++, VB or MS SQL Server

- Experience testing batch processes preferred

- Experience with retail store systems (POS, Inventory Management and Back Office) is a strong plus

- Experience working in application development environments within Fortune 500 enterprises or their software suppliers and/or experience in the Retail business is a plus

- Ability to pass a criminal background investigation
