Description
San Diego company is looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer with extensive experience testing applications in a J2ee environment. Responsibilities and tasks to be accomplished are below:

-The construction of a JUnit environment for use by developers. The JUnit environment will include: tooling to automate the creation, as well as a testing framework to run the tests on a nightly basis on a "build box", results will be integrated into a reporting framework.
- Integration of static code analysis tools for standard compliance and code integrity into a nightly build and reporting framework based on Maven.
- Create and maintenance of integration tests.
- Train staff on the creation, use and maintenance of automated validated and regression testing.
- Creation and maintenance of load tests for use in an AIX based Application Analysis Environment.
- Creation of documents detailing policies and procedures for Quality Assurance Tasks related to the SDLC.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires a minimum of 6 years as a senior quality assurance engineer in a J2EE environment. Knowledge of Mercury tools, and automated builds required. Use of Maven, Wily, MKS, and Borland OptimizeIt considered a plus. The ability to program in Java, and Unix scripting language is preferred. Excellence is required in analytical abilities, verbal and written communications skills, and interpersonal relations. It
is critical to have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to both business and technical groups.
