Description
The Senior Software Quality Control Engineer evaluates and tests software programs to verify that programs function according to specifications prior to release on both products and projects.
1. Review software requirements specification and software design documents to develop comprehensive system testing and test plans. Interact with staff and team members, clients, or others as necessary, to rigorously and accurately identify and document testing requirements.
2. Design program test modules/systems that meet the identified requirements.
3. Develop both manual and automated test scripts/modules.
4. Generate and/or execute systems level test plans and document test results.
5. Create and maintain technical documentation per the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) SOP.
6. Provide accurate and timely status reports on all activities to project leaders/supervisors as necessary.df-tc

Experience/Skills
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED1. Knowledge of Windows 9x, NT, 2000, XP and 2000 Server Operating Systems.
2. Knowledge of PC automated test software development tools, such as Sahi, SilkTest, Rational Robot, and/or WinRunner.
3. General understanding of programming methodologies and basic understanding of languages such as C++, Java, or equivalent languages.
4. Working knowledge in Microsoft Access, SQL, or equivalent databases.
5. Proficient in various Window applications such as MS Office, administrator tools, browsers, etc
