Description
We are seeking an experienced candidate with hands-on RF/Microwave product design/development and documentation and project management with expertise in High Power Solid-State Amplifier design including proficiency in RF/Microwave design, layout and modeling and simulation design tools. Implement and maintain design control procedures, reporting on the performance of product engineering and improving product designs. Study and design product objectives for RF amplifiers and systems. Establish design criteria for the product, and determine material requirements, product operational capabilities and limitations. Maintain technical data for all engineering activities to be available for management and the customer.

Skills, Experience and Personal Characteristics

Position requires a four-year engineering degree with 15 years of direct experience, preferably a PhD in Engineering with years of direct experience or Masters in Engineering with 10 years experience. Five years plus of experience in managing complex technical activities. These experiences should be gained in areas of product engineering, research and development or design engineering. Must be organized and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing ability.
