Senior Recruiter - Engineering

Avid is searching for an ambitious and enthusiastic SeniorRecruiter to join our growing Video Talent Acquisition team, supporting the Engineering group. Avid Recruiters provide recruiting services to support the business needs of the Video Business Unit across the United States. Recruiters utilize proactive recruiting techniques and develop industry contacts to hire qualified and talented individuals aligned with Avid's ?Hire Stars? philosophy.

Responsibilities include:

* Partnering with hiring managers to clarify job specifications and requirements, discussing business operations, and developing recruiting strategies to fill current and further staffing needs, either local or in the field
* Partnering with Sourcer to provide hiring managers with multiple qualified candidates for each opening
* Creatively sourcing, recruiting, and executing recruitment strategies
* Championing Avid's Employee Value Proposition to the market and top-notch candidates
* Developing and maintaining recruitment contacts and networks
* Mentoring hiring managers on appropriate Avid and legal hiring/interviewing practices, and compensation decisions
* As necessary, assist with the offer process and other duties

Requirements include:

* Self-motivation and ability to identify and mine multiple sources for potential star candidates
* 7+ years experience in HR/Recruiting with a focused background in Recruiting
* Strong Customer Service orientation
* Superior verbal and written communication skills
* Demonstrated success working with all levels of management
* Microsoft Word, Excel, the Internet, and Avid's ATSdf-tc
