We have an immediate need for a Senior Reporting Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION
Collaborate with business partners and BI Development team to provide Business Intelligence reporting solutions. Assist in the development and implementation of a Business Intelligence infrastructure for accurately capturing, sharing, distributing, securing, and leveraging company data resources. Work with multidimensional and relational data marts and web based reporting tools to facilitate analysis and decision making.

Major Duties:
- Develop an understanding of our clients business
- Serve as a technical expert in at least one BI technology.
- Perform in-depth analysis and documentation of business logic and requirements
- Develop high level design documents for reporting and analysis projects
- Provide accurate and comprehensive Level of Effort estimates and scope documents
- Administer and monitor BI environment and processes
- Identify and recommend scalable, effective solutions to business problems
- Help to ensure the integrity and maintainability of the overall business intelligence solution
- Implement and enforce security policies
- Conduct design reviews and code reviews
- Prepare and execute comprehensive test plans for system and quality testing of reports
- Provide support of front-end BI systems deployment, maintenance, and upgrades
- Provide on-call support and problem resolution for reporting and application issues
- Create education material for user community training, including the creation of user reference materials
- Document and diagram all development and customizations, including report specifications, for BI solutions
- Research, evaluate, recommend, and enforce standards and best practices
- Participate in the design, development, and deployment of BI solutions (e.g., models, catalogs, reports, web reports and multi-dimensional cubes) using the established BI application tool set
- Assist in project management activities to consistently meet or exceed delivery objectives within designated project time lines
- Self-manage mid-complexity projects though entire life cycle
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to the team members within the Reporting and Analytics group to develop and expand their technical skills

Minimum Requirements:

**Focus more on people who have the Oracle/Siebel/BRIO experience. He already has SQL knowledge on his team.

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- Experience demonstrating a clear understanding of databases, data warehouse and analytics.
- Knowledge of Transact SQL.
- Reporting software experience with either SQL Server or Oracle technologies.
- Some knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint technologies a PLUS.
- Experience with end-to-end business intelligence / data warehouse implementations.
- Ability to translate business needs into workable technology solutions.
- Strong analytical skills. Able to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Oracle Business Intelligence EE/Answers (OBIEE) a PLUS.
- Siebel & Analytics 7.x a PLUS.
- BRIO 6.x or higher a PLUS.
- Oracle EBS 11.5.10 a PLUS.
- Oracle 10G Database knowledge a PLUS.

- SQL Server 2000, 2005, 2008 a PLUS.
- SSAS, SSIS, SSRS knowledge a PLUS.

- Business Analysis knowledge including Requirements gathering, and Functional specifications writing.
- Knowledge of lifecycle implementation of BI with Star Schemas a PLUS.
