Excellent Opportunity - Senior Reports Developer!
  • Design, develop, test and deploy reporting solutions for external clients.
  • Perform data analysis, extraction, cleansing, transformation, movement, and loading as well as supporting business users in understanding the requirements and translating into effective reporting solutions.
  • Develop, test, and tune reporting solutions to support scheduled and ad-hoc reporting from technical specifications
  • Assist in the design and development of report specifications; provide assistance in setting up an overall enterprise reporting architecture
  • Participate in a structured evaluation and selection of reporting tools
  • Participate in component and data architecture design
  • Participate in the design of data models to improve report usability and performance
  • Gather reporting requirements from business strategy end users
  • Assist in the design of report layouts to maximize usability and business relevance
  • Conduct end user and technical training on reporting tools

Experience/Skills
  • Experience should include an in-depth knowledge of Cognos reporting tools,Excel, Access, PL/SQL and TSQL. Excellent presentation skills for client interaction.
  • BA/BS in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience in a relevant field
  • Strong analysis skills to understand user reporting requests and capture requirements
  • Experience with the relational/multidimensional data modeling techniques
  • In-depth knowledge of relational database technologies

    Other desired skills:
