Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Senior Resource Manager to join our team in Providence, RI.

Job Role:
  • Act as a business partner in development, sales, service design, existing business growth, and delivery of new business for Perot Systems.
  • Responsible for the overall program/project plan, budget, structure, schedule and staffing requirements with a major emphasis on management and coordination tasks.
  • Direct interaction with client executive sponsors and senior account leaders, project managers, business analysts, functional team leads, and PMO staff.
  • Ensures that projects are staffed with the right set of resources and that resources have the skills required for the successful completion of tasks. The candidate will configure the tools, define and maintain the processes, and promote the business rules supporting a centralized Resource Management System (RMS) for the assignment of human resources to IT projects.
  • Responsible for timely, clear reports on Resource Supply, Demand, and Utilization analysis to minimize over- and under-utilization, identifying the need to hire or shift resources across projects to meet delivery schedules
  • Facilitating client and project staff communications and negotiations with regard to resource assignment and allocation that may involve volatile or complex issues. Effective negotiation and influencing skills are required.

    Required Skills:
  • The Manager should have 2-9 years of progressive directly related experience in application of Project Management, or combination of education and experience.
  • Payer Healthcare experience
  • Demonstrated success in developing analytical reports that are effective and intuitive enough to provide high usability for people of diverse competencies
  • Proven experience with applicable tools, such as MS Project Server, Excel, industry portfolio management tools

  • Business Development skills

    Minimum Educational Requirements:
  • BA/BS Degree

    Minimum Certifications or Other Professional Credentials:
  • PMP
