Description

Expert in Storage, SAN, NAS, Disaster Recovery, Virtualization technologies, accountable for identifying, evaluating, testing and justifying a variety of storage platforms, appliances, software technologies . Must be a hands engineer and Independent, self motivated technologist, ability to offer consultative advice to help define generic requirements building detailed requirements in order to develop engineer specifications and perform pilot testing. Will design engineer storage platforms to support information lifecycle management policies related to tiered storage, data virtualization, storage virtualization, quality of service offerings, data protection, etc. EMC, NetApps, IBM, Veritas and Cisco expertise preferred. 5- 10+ years of experience in global enterprise technology environments for SAN, NAS Storage, Data Protection and DR, preferable to have some prior technology vendor or consulting background. Preferable knowledge of Service Delivery in an ITIL-framework based environment, with excellent process engineering and management abilities and or knowledge of FDA IQ/OQ infrastructure qualification. Ability to manage across multiple work streams and initiatives globally; must handle conflicting work priorities according to business, technical, and financial need.
