Position Description:

This position is for an experienced Program Manager to lead and take the bottom-line for a complete SAP program. We would envision this person contributing effectively in managing the program and also expand the relationship to include additional ES services and act as a "revenue enabler".


Attributes:

  • Strong Program Management and Interpersonal skills.
  • Strong Product expertise in SAP including the new dimension areas (Netweaver components, BW, XI etc.,).
  • Multiple Full cycle implementation experience in a lead role and should have played the role as a Program Manager.
  • Strong domain knowledge in at least one process area example ;( Supply Chain, Financials, HRMS etc.,).
  • Preferably a Big 4/5 background in the US and with a minimum 8-10 years of experience in the said areas.
  • Previous experience having held revenue accountability (at a program level) in the past.


Additional attributes that would serve as significant differentiating factors include:

  • Demonstrated ability to sell to IT and senior business executives in a given industry / Program.
  • Contacts in the industry that can be leveraged to generate sales leads.
  • Previous experience with having worked with offshore firms.
  • Ability and enthusiasm to travel globally and locally to meet the business needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management or equivalent.
  • Candidate should have prior experience in working with Retail/CPG, Lifesciences, High tech and discrete Manufacturing clients.
  • The ideal candidate will bring 8-10 years experience in project and client management expertise from an established consulting firm or enterprise software company.
  • Candidate will have the capability to provide advisory/thought leadership to customers in their areas of business and technology.
  • Experience at Partner/Associate partner level with large System Integrators/Big4.

Candidate will have:

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional problem solving capabilities.
  • Proven experience leading and delivering large, complex IT projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects and work streams.
  • Ability to interact with and to develop relationships with a diverse group of clients' personnel ranging from senior executives to middle managers to technical individual contributors.
  • Experience managing, recruiting, and retaining outstanding technical talent.
