BearingPoint GTS is currently searching for a Sr. SAP QA Engineer.

Preference will be given to candidates local to our Mountain View office.

Consultant will be responsible for the following:
. Performa as a QA representative for all Quality and Testing functions
. Need a consultant with SAP experience, ability to mentor other Engineers
. Participate in SAP requirements development, software code reviews, configuration and change control, and Go/No-Go decisions
. Plan, schedule and execute to test documentation for SAP.
. Understand, apply and recommend improvements to the current software test methodologies and processes
. Configure, administer, and troubleshoot software test environments
. Apply strategies and approaches for identifying risks with implementation, make assessments and initiating strategies to test for those risks
. Work with the QA and Project Managers to set and evaluate milestone criteria to ensure released products are on schedule
. Record, report, and track defects to accurately depict the status of the system - including conducting defect/triage meetings, daily testing status reports and acting as a single point of contact for defect tracking issues and updates
. Work closely with Project Management and Development teams toward the reporting and resolution of errors

Qualifications include:
. BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science or related field
. 7-10 years of Software Testing experience
. 3-5 years of SAP Experience (Hands on)
. Participated in the implementation of SAP software.
. Completed at least 3 major SAP projects with multiple release cycles
. Working knowledge of SAP development lifecycle: design, development, SQA and software release management and procedures.
. Working knowledge of SQA Tools: Link Checkers, Code Coverage, Automation, Requirements and Test Case Management, Defect Tracking
. Experience testing in Windows, Mac and Unix environments
. Working knowledge of Oracle or other RDBMS systems, including the ability to run queries, read and create SQL procedures/scripts and interpret results
. Experience with Enterprise Applications such as: ERP, CRM, MRP, Financial Apps, etc.
. Good understanding of web and application layers

Candidates must have the ability to accommodate a Monday-Friday travel schedule and travel 50-75% nationwide.
