For instance, our ERP utilizes SAP and Siebel, with SeeBeyond ICAN/e*Gate as the integration layer for all our Supply Chain applications. And that's just one example of the dozens of upgrades and improvements currently underway. As our Senior SAP Systems Engineer, you'll collaborate with Nike's Fulfillment Deliver team to identify business problems and to participate in new development tasks; set technical goals and objectives; and establish functional, data and technical requirements for Nike Deliver applications. You'll create or develop specs for all your detailed technical or functional specifications, communicate system status changes and document solutions to ensure system quality is maintained. You'll be responsible for developing highly maintainable and supportable design and development specs and code for all interfaces. You'll also work with a team of motivated engineers to resolve problems, explain requirements, prioritize system maintenance requests, install enhancements and interface with Deliver and Nike Supply Chain, as well as partner with our Development and Maintenance teams, to ensure production system success; evaluate system failures and provide stable solutions; and conduct applications systems and client server analysis, development and programming. This opportunity also involves interfacing with users to determine system requirements and coordinating requirements with existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities. In addition, you'll collaborate with other IT cross-functional teams on the creation and integration of solutions. Requirements for the position include: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or a related field - 5 years' experience in business, IT or a related field - 2 years' additional experience in lieu of a degree - 3 years' application development or support experience, as well as proven proficiency in programming/language skills, mostly in SAP ABAP - Specialized skills in logistics or supply chain business processes is strongly preferred - Experience with SAP R/3 and/or Event Manager configuration/coding is preferred - Strong proficiency with Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint preferred - Ability to communicate and network well with various levels of the organization - Project facilitation experience in a multiple-function environment is preferred - Experience with Autosys is preferred - Ability to pass a 7-year background investigation Have we piqued your interest?
