We have an immediate need for a Sr. System Administrator/Engineer with large scale enterprise monitoring and deployment background.

JOB DESCRIPTION
This individual will be responsible for the development and design of manageability capabilities for a portion of the organization. The ability to map infrastructure and business needs to product technologies, tight coordination with research, architecture, business and engineering teams, and strong integration skills to drive business solutions are essential.

Daily Responsibilities:
Understand infrastructure requirements. Gain familiarity with current data center infrastructure. Prepare design documents and presentations. Clearly describe the design, including rationale for decisions and implications of decisions.
Work with Business Analysts to design & develop functionalities that meet business requirements. Design, Implement, Test, Administer and maintain a System Center architecture for a large enterprise. Use judgment and creativity to design a viable architecture to meet requirements/specifications as provided by business analysts.
Work with end user to collect, analyze and evaluate business requirements. Examine requirements documents and create technical design documents, unit test, system test, user acceptance test, and implementation plans. Maintain current industry knowledge of development concept, practices and procedures.

Education and Experience required:
BS in Computer Science or related field with a minimum of 6+ years of Enterprise Management experience or MS in Computer Science with a minimum of 4+ years of Enterprise Management experience.
4-7 years developing manageability computing solutions
Expertise level we seek is Senior.

Necessary Skills (Must Have):
Complete understanding of large-scale enterprise management and/or monitoring implementations as well as complex system deployments and migration planning. Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS) with experience in managing large environments at the production level.
Must show proven enterprise experience in architecting, designing, deploying, and administering packaging software, preferably integrating with SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager).
Must have experience Scripting (VBScript preferred) to create and deploy VBS and SMS Installer scripts to automate system tasks.
Strong communications skills, with the ability to interact with end-users to understand requirements and develop comprehensive and complete solutions that incorporate both technology and business processes.
Ability to work on a team as well as independently with minimal supervision to achieve project milestones and deadlines.
Proven experience in senior and/or lead roles for SMS, SCCM, MS SQL, and Active Directory.
Analytical minded self-initiative and self-driven personality

Additional Skills Desired (Nice to Have):
System Center Products with a strong emphasis on System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
Technical Proficiency in SCCM 2007, and Systems Center Operations Manager (SCOM).
SCCM Integration with virtual server deployments.
Broad understanding of an array of technologies and their use, such as: Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, SCCM, SMS, SQL Server, SharePoint, Exchange Hosted Services, SCOM, ISA, and WSUS. MS SQL Database design/administration (2005 or 2008) preferred.
