Senior SQA EngineerLocation: El Segundo, CADescription:Accordent Technologies seeks an experienced Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with at least four years experience and a strong background in SQA to join our rapidly expanding Development Team.The ideal candidate will already be working as a QA Engineer and have experience with MS Windows, popular web browsers, e-mail clients and MS Office. The SQA Engineer will drive quality assurance processes, manual testing, regression testing tools, writing test plans, and reviewing test cases and will create functional and technical documentation.Candidates must have experience in testing applications, creating test cases for assigned software, testing reported issues and managing issue reporting of web-based and client/server applications.Must be an expert in writing and executing test plans/cases, technical writing and documenting and possess experience writing defect reports, maintaining logged defects in defect database, and assisting software engineers in resolving software deficiencies.Superior project planning and project management skills required. Knowledge of CMM, strong software configuration management skills desirable.BS in computer science, systems engineering, mathematics, operations research/industrial engineering or related major or equivalent.df-tc
