Description
Our client is seeking a Sr. SQL Server DBA for a permanent position in SLC, Utah. Duties include:
  • Design, implement, and optimize database(s)
  • Write stored procedures to support database activities
  • Manage the release process for database environments
  • Support data manipulation, generation, and cleanup requirements
  • Manage evolution of database environments throughout the software development cycle
  • Support the database needs of the Internal Business Systems department

  • ETL Experience
  • Replication Services
  • Database Modeling
  • Data Quality concepts
  • Performance Tuning
  • Clustering and High Availability
  • Excellent organizational, communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience with software development process and release management
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in software development
  • 5+ years of experience as a database developer or database administrator
  • 5+ years of MS SQL Server experience
  • .NET experience
  • Knowledge and experience with Dynamics GP is a plus
