Description
Robert Half Technology is seeking a Senior SQL Application Support Specialist for our client.Responsibilities for this position include: -Develop and support data management strategies for our client's sales and marketing initiatives. -Build, edit, and review challenging and complex SQL procedures. -Troubleshoot existing import/export processes to detect problems and inefficiencies, and develop solutions. -Support database management functions for databases that are valuable assets to our clients. -Analyze OLTP and OLAP databases, produce reports, interpret results and provide recommendations.-Work closely with a team of other professionals in the field of data management. This position requires the following skills: -6+ Years T-SQL programming, stored procedures, data imports and exports. -4+ SQL Server 2000 or SQL Server 2005. -Experience working with Marketing and Sales Data.-Solid understanding of data warehousing and customer-centric modeling. -Ability to analyze data, troubleshoot new and mature processes, manipulate data via SQL, and support database design efforts. -Ability to work both independently and in a team. Be a self starter and proactive. -Ability to multitask and maintain a flexible outlook in a client focused environment. -Proficient verbal and written communication skills. Documentation skills for code/project reviews is a must. -Solid SQL Server DTS or SSIS skills-VB or ASP experience helpful-Advanced statistics/analysis background a plus-Prior experience supporting production operations helpfulFor consideration, please apply immediately.
