POSITION SUMMARY: ---------------- The Sr. Software Engineer will be part of the Protocol and Content analysis team developing application protocol handlers and content analysis engines. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: ------------------------ * 6-12 yrs in the communications/security industry working on a wide range of products. * Thorough knowledge of TCP/IP & application protocols(HTTP,POP3,SMTP,IMAP,FTP etc). * Ability to analyze & decode network protocols. * Ability to implement protocol modules. * Strong C/C++ design and implementation skills. * Participation through an entire life cycle, from requirements to successful shipment and customer support to customers * Strong communication skills. * Willing to work as part of a team. * Knowledge of security concepts is a plus. df-tc
